The purpose of the Pastoral Ministry Department is to equip Spirit-anointed students to serve as pastors, as associate ministers, and in church-related leadership roles in Pentecostal churches and para-church ministries.
Upon completion of the Pastoral Ministry program, the student should be able to:
- Demonstrate competency in preaching, teaching, church planting, church growth, discipleship, and biblical counseling;
- Demonstrate the work of the pastor in the principles and practices of administration from the local church to the church worldwide;
- Demonstrate preparation in one or more of the following specialized areas of ministry: youth, men's or women's ministries;
- Demonstrate knowledge and appreciation for the Bible as outlined in the objectives of the Biblical Studies Department;
- Demonstrate knowledge and appreciation for general education.
