WORLD MISSIONS
The purpose of the World Missions department is to equip Spirit-anointed students for biblically based, worldwide and missionary ministry.
Students are strongly encouraged to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in World Missions. Completion of a B.A. degree requires 12 hours of a foreign language.
Upon completion of the World Missions programs, the student should be able to:

Demonstrate an understanding of the biblical basis for missions;

Discuss the life of a missionary including his call, preparation, and problems in working on the field;
-
Manifest an appreciation for people from varying cultures and ethnic backgrounds;
-
Participate in missions practicums;
-
Participate effectively in summer missions;
-
Preach effectively in cross-cultural Christian service activities;
-
Demonstrate knowledge of historical and current conditions for missionary work in various parts of the world;
-
Plan strategies for ministering to various religions and cults of the world;
-
Participate as a team member in cross-cultural church planting and church growth;
-
Demonstrate knowledge and appreciation of the Bible as outlined in the objectives of the Biblical Studies Department;
-
Demonstrate knowledge and appreciation for general education.

Students desiring a Bachelor of Arts must satisfactorily complete twelve hours of foreign language. Miracle Valley Bible College & Seminary offers Koine Greek (New Testament), Biblical Hebrew (Old Testament) and Spanish.
